Your Instructor
Jillian Ratliff (she/her) has been a security consultant and has taught developers all over the world the principles of secure coding. Throughout her 12 years of industry experience, she has built application security programs and reviewed hundreds of thousands of lines of code in twenty different programming languages. In order to keep herself balanced, Jillian performs stand-up comedy and prides herself on bringing a playful sense of humor when training developers, not an easy task…especially in Portuguese!

F.A.Q.
Q. How much time should I expect to spend in class every month?
A. About 8-10 hours every month. Live classes are an hour per week (4-5 hours per month). Two special guests are another 2 hours per month. Breaking news coverage is variable but expect maybe 1 per month. Office hours are optional but that will be another 2 hours per month.
Q. What day of the week/time is class?
A. Great question! Classes and office hours will be staggered to accommodate members in different time zones, but you will receive a schedule every month and we'll email you calendar invites.
Q. What if I can't attend live?
A. That's okay! You'll know the subject ahead of time and can submit your questions beforehand. You'll have access to all of the recordings for as long as you're a member.
Q. I am so tired of Zoom calls. Is there another way to consume the information?
A. I completely understand! I will have an audio download of each class recording, and a transcript will also be available if you prefer to read the information.
Q. What if I sign up and change my mind?
A. That's okay! It's easy to cancel your subscription at any time. You'll never be pressured to stay if it's not for you.

April C. Wright is a hacker, author, teacher, and community leader who has been breaking, making, fixing, and defending the security of global critical communications and connections for over 25 years. She is an international speaker and trainer, educating and advising on matters of privacy and information security with the goal of safeguarding the digital components we rely on every day. April has held roles on defensive, operational, adversarial, and development teams throughout her career and is currently a Senior Application Security Architect.
Aaron Lord

Aaron is an Application Security Engineer with over 10 years of experience. His unorthodox career path has led to many unique insights in the security industry. Aaron founded and hosted #HellaConf, a virtual information security conference held on April 26th, 2020. You can read his Application Security musings at hella-secure.com.
